Watchmaker - Luxury Timepieces (Austin, Texas)

With Laif Anderson recently joining as our Director – Authentication & Service, we’re expanding our team in Austin to include a dedicated watchmaker who will play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and authenticating high-value timepieces.

Thousands of watches pass through our hands each year, requiring the highest level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
Service and maintain luxury timepieces in line with brand-specific standards
Test watches for precision, performance, and overall quality
Support authentication processes alongside our Director – Authentication & Service
Perform repairs and adjustments on movements, cases, and bracelets
Refinish and polish cases and bracelets to a high standard
Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and workspace
Contribute to building a scalable, high-quality service operation
Occasionally participate in content creation (e.g., showcasing craftsmanship)
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Strong technical skills across servicing, repair, and refinishing
Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and consistency
Able to manage workflow independently in a fast-paced environment
Calm under pressure with a structured approach to work
Professional, reliable, and accountable
Clear communicator with strong English skills
Qualifications
Formal watchmaker education or apprenticeship required
Minimum 3 years of experience working with high-end timepieces (e.g., Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin)
Experience with case and bracelet refinishing is a strong advantage
Experience with high complications is a strong advantage
