POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead a high-volume flagship location for a growing fine jewelry organization. This is a critical role responsible for driving business performance, elevating the client experience, developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
This position will oversee a team of approximately 10-12 employees within a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-million-dollar flagship location. The ideal candidate is a proven jewelry leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can immediately step into a complex operation, balancing team development, sales performance, customer experience, and day-to-day business execution.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10-12 employees.
- Create a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, accountability conversations, and performance feedback.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing top talent.
- Build strong leadership presence while maintaining professional boundaries with the team.
- Identify performance gaps and create actionable development plans.
- Foster team engagement while maintaining accountability and operational standards.
- Serve as a hands-on leader who actively models expectations and behaviors.
Sales Performance and Business Growth
- Lead and mentor team members to achieve and exceed store sales goals.
- Drive business performance through KPI ownership, accountability, and coaching initiatives.
- Establish, monitor, and reinforce key performance indicators including:
- Sales volume
- Conversion
- Team productivity
- Average transaction value
- Clienteling activity
- Appointment performance
- Customer experience metrics
- Analyze store performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategic initiatives that improve overall store results and team effectiveness.
- Monitor sales goals and business objectives while ensuring strong financial performance.
Client Experience and Relationship Development
- Deliver and model an elevated, luxury customer experience.
- Lead by example through in-person appointments and consultative selling experiences.
- Drive clienteling efforts and establish relationship-building best practices.
- Support and coach the team around closing strategies and customer engagement.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and escalations effectively.
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects high-touch service standards and brand values.
Store Operations and Ownership
- Maintain ownership of day-to-day store operations and overall business performance.
- Support scheduling, staffing, team productivity, and operational execution.
- Monitor adherence to store goals, budgets, and business initiatives.
- Implement operational efficiencies, policies, and process improvements.
- Maintain luxury showroom standards and visual merchandising presentation.
- Support planogram execution, seasonal rollouts, and showroom updates.
- Partner with leadership regarding higher-level approvals and escalated matters as needed.
- Operate effectively within a rapidly evolving, growth-oriented business environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Minimum 5+ years of fine jewelry industry experience required.
- Minimum 3+ years of jewelry management experience required.
- Experience managing and developing retail teams.
- Proven success driving sales performance and operational execution.
- Strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Experience with CRM systems and clienteling initiatives.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bridal jewelry experience.
- Experience supporting custom jewelry sales processes.
- Experience leading flagship or high-volume retail environments.
- College degree preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT
- Location: On-site, Denver, Colorado
- Flagship retail showroom environment
- Full-time position
- Reports to: Director of Store Performance & Operations
- Variable scheduling model
- Friday and Saturday availability required
- One Sunday off per month
- Flexibility to support evolving business needs and operational priorities
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000 annually, depending on experience
- Bonus eligibility available
- Existing company-wide sales bonus structure paid bi-weekly
- Additional store-performance incentive program currently being developed
