CAZA Collective is partnering with an established luxury jewelry company seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join its operations team in Great Neck, New York.

As an integral member of the Operations team, you'll help ensure inventory is accurately tracked, organized, and prepared to support retailers, cruise partners, trade shows, trunk shows, and other key business initiatives.
About the Role
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through hands-on inventory management, product handling, reconciliation, and system updates. This individual will work closely with Operations, Shipping, Merchandising, and Customer Support to ensure fine jewelry inventory is properly received, tracked, organized, and prepared for distribution.
Success in this role requires someone who enjoys balancing physical inventory work with administrative accuracy while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull, verify, count, organize, and stage fine jewelry inventory.
- Process inventory movements including receiving, transfers, replenishments, repairs, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's inventory management system.
- Verify style numbers, product descriptions, quantities, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
- Prepare jewelry inventory for shipments supporting retailers, trade shows, trunk shows, cruise programs, and special events.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas while following established security and inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with Shipping, Logistics, Merchandising, Sales Support, and Operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and shipment readiness.
- Identify, communicate, and help resolve inventory discrepancies and product issues.
- Support continuous improvements in inventory organization and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, jewelry operations, or similar inventory-focused roles.
- Experience handling high-value merchandise with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform hands-on inventory work throughout the day, including pulling, organizing, counting, scanning, staging, and packing inventory.
- Previous experience within fine jewelry, luxury goods, wholesale, or retail environments is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience ($45,760 – $58,240) annually.
- 20 days of Paid Time Off annually, including vacation, sick time, holidays, and personal days (accrued following the introductory probationary period).
Working Environment
- Onsite position based in Great Neck, New York.
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
