Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
CAZA Collective is recruiting on behalf of an established fine jewelry retailer seeking an Inventory Associate to join its team in New York City.
The Inventory Associate supports the end-to-end processing of finished jewelry inventory, helping ensure each piece is accurately documented, organized, and prepared for ecommerce and in-store presentation.
This is a highly administrative and detail-oriented role with a strong emphasis on product information, data accuracy, organization, and follow-through. It is not a traditional stockroom or inventory-pulling position.
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, this position works within a small, collaborative team and is expected to become increasingly independent once trained. Candidates must bring prior fine jewelry industry experience and a working knowledge of jewelry products and terminology.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, accountable, comfortable with detailed and repetitive work, and eager to learn and grow within an inventory-focused role.

- Prepare merchandise tags and support display readiness.
- Process memo merchandise, returns, and related documentation.
- Support inventory updates, repricing, special events, and other merchandise-related projects as needed.
- Partner with inventory, ecommerce, marketing, sales, and other teams to keep merchandise moving efficiently through the process.
- Provide administrative and back-of-house operational support as needed.
- Follow established security and loss-prevention procedures when handling high-value merchandise.

- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while completing repetitive and administrative work.
- Strong data-entry, administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfort working with detailed product information and reviewing content for accuracy.
- Strong technology aptitude and ability to learn new inventory, point-of-sale, ecommerce, and workflow systems.
- Comfort learning basic product photography and image-editing. Prior photography experience is a plus, but not required.
- Reliable and accountable, with strong follow-through and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to take direction, accept feedback, and work independently once trained.
- Proactive, collaborative, and willing to support the broader team as business needs evolve.
- Genuine interest in detail-oriented inventory and behind-the-scenes jewelry operations.
