Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Watchmaker to join our team, contributing to the repair, servicing, and restoration of luxury timepieces from our esteemed brands: TAG Heuer, Zenith, and Dior. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of watch mechanics, meticulous attention to detail, and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and automatic watch movements.
- Perform complete overhauls, including disassembly, cleaning, oiling, and reassembly of specialized timepieces.
- Replace and or fabricate damaged or worn parts, utilizing traditional watchmaking techniques.
- Regulate and adjust timing accuracy to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure the integrity and authenticity of all timepieces during repair and restoration processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest watchmaking technologies and techniques.
- Collaborate with other watchmakers and technicians to resolve technical issues.
- Adhere to LVMH's quality standards and brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Certified Watchmaker degree or equivalent certification from a recognized watchmaking school.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in watch repair and servicing, preferably with luxury brands.
- Proficiency in working with a variety of mechanical movements.
- Thorough understanding of watchmaking tools, equipment, and materials.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
