Associate Instructors: Provides instruction for assigned classes, courses, or introductory seminars and guides student outcomes.   • Signing Bonus for Instructors: $5,000
  • Location: New York or Carlsbad Campus
  • Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm
  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma, graduate gemologist diploma from GIA and 3+ years of trade experience required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
    • Additional related training (GJ, JDT FGA, Etc.)
    • Retail management experience
    • 2 + years of teaching, mentoring or training experience
    • Experience with learning management system
    • Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese (preferred)

Career Services Advisor: The Career Services Advisor will carry out the mission, vision, and strategic goals of the department.  This Advisor provides career education and support for students' and graduates' career planning strategies and career development needs in the following areas: career readiness, including but not limited to resume writing, interviewing, workplace professionalism, industry expectations, and employment within the gem and jewelry industry. Preparing students for finding suitable employment by enhancing their job search skills. Developing and fostering relationships with the Gem and Jewelry employer community to provide students with opportunities through direct contact and virtual communication methods. Maintaining and updating student records and Career Services documentation and technology sites.

  • Location: New York Campus
  • Hours: M-F 8am-5pm, normal working hours
  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma and 5-6+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2-3 years of Jewelry industry experience required
    • Talent acquisition/recruiting is a plus.
    • GIA education preferred

Physical Requirement:

  • Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment.
  • Extensive use of office equipment to include computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business related machines and software.
